What is LED light therapy?

LED (Light emitting diode) is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses LED light bulbs to emits wavelengths of light energy, that targets deep into the skin cells for multiple skin and anti-ageing benefits. It is a pain-free and relaxing treatment that is cost effective with amazing results, safe for all skin types and colours.

How does LED light therapy work?

LED therapy uses specific colour wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin at varying depths. The light works to energise cells in the skin to produce collagen, improve elasticity and increase blood circulation and oxygen flow while releasing toxins.

Yellow light has been clinically proven to increase the overall health of the skin. It targets skin rejuvenation, wound healing (such as acne scarring) decreases signs of fine lines and increases blood flow to skin tissue.

Blue light is used for its anti-bacterial benefits and works to eliminate acne-producing bacteria on the skin, improving inflammatory or hormonal acne and targets active acne.

Red light acts as an anti-wrinkle and skin rejuvenation therapy. The infrared uses a long wavelength, activating cell regeneration, fibroblasts and stimulating the creation of collagen and elastin. As a result, it helps to substantially reduce wrinkles and fine lines; closes large pores; and prevents the ageing of the skin.

The green light helps to control hyperpigmentation of the skin and has a great regenerative power of skin nutrients damaged by sun and age. The green light acts against the melanocytes, the melanin forming cells in the inner part of the epidermis, inhibiting the production of excess melanin.

As a result, it helps eliminate dark spots on the skin and is highly beneficial for people suffering hyperpigmentation, melasma and vitiligo. Dark scars are lightened and skin tone is equal with expression lines reduced.
