Profhilo is a type of dermal filler that can significantly improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also help to increase hydration and firmness across the face, neck and arms. In principle, dermal fillers can often look a lot like other injectables, such as muscle relaxing injections and volumisers, however they offer a very different set of results. Depending on where the injections are administered, and how much of the substance is used, Profhilo can improve facial contours, restore plumpness and volume to areas lacking it. A good example of this is under the eyes, and it can even be used to improve the lips, helping to reduce smokers lines. What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is the first BDDE-free stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity. With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market it not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue. Overall this restores a naturally youthful appearance. Find out more information about how treatments like fillers work by contacting us. Profhilo lasts in the skin around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA. The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore it is more than simply a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening/lifting effect on the tissue as well. Profile doesn’t need to be massaged and leaves no nodules.

Dermal fillers are also an extremely flexible cosmetic injectable and can be used for various different reasons in many different cosmetic treatments. For example, Profhilo dermal filler treatment can be used within lip augmentation treatment (where they are used as a plumping tool in order to enhance size and shape of lips), and are also used within non-surgical nose reshaping as a contouring tool to effectively help reshape the nose tip without the need for surgical intervention.
